PCI-E is faster than standard PCI. Also a little bit more money. However if you just have standard PCI slots buy a standard PCI card. As for installing its no different just press it in the correct slot.

For now, i would recommend just picking up something like that. You don't have to change the mobo and the graphics wont be terrible (they wont be rivaling the 8800GTX either)

can i install that card, on the above link, into my computer, dell dimension 3000, because its says it doesn't have an AGP/PCI-E Expansion Slot

Yes that card will fit in a plain PCI slot. Which you have.

Thats what this forum is for man. And yes, right now im assuming you hjave the graphics that came with the machine (intel integrated extreme graphics 2) Its an onboard chip and is basically complete garbage. The card will be like night and day fro you.

ha, one more thing, just knowing or guessing, will i be able to run new games on it? or whats my limit on gaming with this card?
