Man i wish i knew more about video stuff. I always had trouble pickin out the best cards.

I mean, you might as well. We already have a price, design and specs out. It comes out on January 9, 2009, right? It's already been compared to other cards.

he may be impatient and want to buy it right now, the 295 definitely blows away every card out right now except in fallout 3, but even then it's performance is still tied for best...

if you're saying the GX2 gets 20 FPS more than any of the cards we've been talking about (4850x2, 4870x2, GTX295, etc.) then I want some of what you're smoking, that's my GUESS...

Nvidia just announced it to stop people from buying HD 4870 X2s, it's not really going to be available for a long time, but it's still going to make ATi lose a lot of sales between now and it's release.
