Default GPU Question

So I have a Core 2 Duo E6550 on the way and I am looking at getting a better GPU, Nothing overkill, Something like GT650. I am just wondering if there will be any issues such as bottlenecks. It will not be used to play anything intensive only Minecraft, Sims and League of Legends. I will also be upgrading my ram to 4GB..

I don't think the CPU is gonna bottleneck a modern low end GPU.
After all, games are mostly GPU depended.
A 650 seams fine, but you can get a 750 for only 20-25 bucks more.
The cheapest 650 on pcpartpicker cost 85 bucks and the cheapest 750 cost 105

Would the 650 be able to play what I want on decent settings, I am not expecting high/ultra settings.

It will. i'll still recommend spending 20 bucks extra on a 750.

If you can consider to shell out a few bucks more? Check out the Radeon R7 265. It's slightly better than the GTX 750 TI.

You can easily reuse the cooler.
I don't know if i will recommend the 730. It's not really a gaming card.

R7 265. Just do it. The GT650 is outdated. At least the R7 265 is a modern chip.

The R7 265 is the better card for sure. But it's also 90% more expensive.
And for the looks of things, BK seams to have a tight budget
