Default GPU power question

Okay. So is it better to have 2 HD 5770 or 1 HD 5870. Intense gaming, Crysis max res 1900x1080, v.h settings and so on. I have one 5770 right now and I have my new rig coming in soon. So I'm wondering if it's worth buying a 5870 or a 5770 and adding it to the one I already own. Can't find benchmark reviews comparing the two. ideas?

Keep it to single card if possible.

They kinda go back and forth in terms of performance.

^ this, usually the power requirements for two lesser cards that are almost equal to a single card is more, single card whenever possible...
