Default Which GPU

I am looking to upgrade from my XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB.

Which GPU would you guys suggest? My mobo is a XFX nForce 610i (PCI Express x16)

Price range of maybe $125, maybe more.

The Evga GTS 250 512Mb would be perfect for you. Fits right in the budget and plays most games on fairly high settings. There is also an XFX version of the card, I believe. If you are more of an XFX fan. Though I think the architecture of the both cards is the exact same with a difference of a few MHz.

Evga Version: Video Memory: 512MB
Memory Type: DDR3
Memory Interface: 256-bit
Stream Processors: 128
Core Clock: 756 MHz
Memory Clock: 2200 MHz
Shader Clock: 836 MHz

XFX Version: Video Memory: 512MB
Memory Type: DDR3
Memory Interface: 256-bit
Stream Processors: 128
Core Clock: 738 MHz
Memory Clock: 2200 MHz
Shader Clock: 1836 MHz

I would get a sapphire 4850 or 4870 if u can. The 4850 should run about $125.
What are some system specs so we can get a better idea?

It depends on your monitor's native resolution and the rest of your system specs.
