Default Good specs/Good battery life

ok, so now I've decicded I probably am going to be eventually buying a new laptop, so I've been looking around. I found this one which seems pretty good, but I also want a laptop that will get better battery life than my current one, which doesn't ever last for more than 2 hrs.
I've been looking at this this, but I'm not sure that it is fit for good battery life:

also, do laptop batteries need to be charged fully on every charge? I don't always do this, but I was told that they don't develop a memory. I have a lithium ion battery.
