is that a good computer, with everything considered. and this is just a pc to use, not gaming, or anything liek that.. ill post more, but i gotta go, real fast.. so yeah.. be back in like 2 hours..

just to use? I would still go with a faster CPU I know it sounds kinda strange but I'm running a 2.8ghz (dont know the real name) and the multi-tasking is horrible.

I dont have a choice, i have to stay within this price range... and the computer doesnt give me a choice either. i have to choose that one, unless i go to an upper model, which is more $$, and i dont wanna do that :|

Why don't you just build a comp? It's cheaper.

Because i said in a thread a few days ago, my mom has a nitch for buying from dell (im 15) so i dont have a say in what she does with her money. I influence her decision, but she doesnt want me to make one.. It blows i know.. but yeah.

Gateway makes a really nice computer for $649
Whoes computer is that in your sig?

max of about 600 us dollars
mom wants dell, lol..
thats my computer, and guess what.. its a dell... *booo!*

Thats to bad because you can get a Gateway for $649 with the following.

Intel P4 3.0Ghz w/HT
800Mhz FSB
512Mb PC3200 RAM in Dual Chan
200GB SATA harddrive.
DVD burner DL
CDROM
ATI Xpress300 w/ PCI-E slot

Sure does beat Dell.
