you got boned (or he got boned)...

case...$150 + shipping...
cpu...$270 FS...
RAM...$316 FS...
DVD...$25...
PSU...$78 after MIR FS...
GPU...$170 after MIR + shipping...
mobo...$306 after MIR FS (the highest priced 790i EVGA board with DDR3 support, there are a few with a 790i chipset)...

$1,305 after MIRs, still less than $1,400 before rebates, so unless $1,150 worth of shipping can be justified, either you're boning your friend or you got boned, that is if you live in the good ol' USA, if you live abroad maybe that huge price tag can be justified, IDK, but that price sounds high no matter where you live, but it's just ridiculously high if you live in the US, especially for a system that is hardly top of the line...

Whoa..that's too expensive! I'd say a maximum/average of:

$2,000 AUD
$1,400 USD
$1,000 Euro
$1,630 CAD
$940 GBP
$118,610 JPY
$43,900 RUB
