Alright so I do alot of video editing/recoding, and i don't game as much as i used to. i have a core 2 duo e4500 2.2ghz overclocked to 2.8 ghz. My render times on vids and stuff are pretty good, but i was thinking of getting a cpu that is better at rendering. Would a quad core be good for what i need? What model would be good?

To be just a littel bit helpful, here's the specs on that motherboard.

the main limiting factor with your current processor is the 800mhz FSB, the Q6600 would be perfect for you, it's great for multitasking and you could easily overclock it on air to 3.0ghz and a 1333mhz FSB to match the 1333mhz of your motherboard, getting the golden 1:1 ratio...
