Hi
I have a Gigabyte board at home, model number GA-EP45-DS5.
I am thinking of putting this into a case with some hard drives and using it as a NAS system using Freenas.
I know the board has 10 sata ports, of which 8 are use able (2 are probably going to be unusable due to Gigabytes design of RAID only sata ports).
Is this a sensible choice for a NAS system board or should I look to pick something new up?
