Default Is this Good?

hi i am building a computer after a bit of research i have decided on these components. i was wondering if this is a good choice for running Windows Vista Home Premium. i would also like to edit high graphic movies and play games.

Main Board: Asus Mainboard M2N-MX
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 - 3500+ Socket AM2
Ram: 1024Mb DDR2 533 Memory
DVD: LG GSA-H22 / H12 NEW 18X
HDD:Western Digital 250GB 7200RPM SATA2
If needed: Graphics Card: VC XFX 7300GS PCIe/256MB

Is this ok to run this?

I'm guessing that this is a budget build. I don't know too much about graphical editing, but a 7300GS won't get you very far in gaming. A budget to work with would help.

CPU doesn't really matter that much in gaming. Yes, performance will suffer a little bit, but the GPU is what really matters.

What kind of games do you want to play? And what's your budget?

You're retarted.

We have no idea what his budget is, what kind of games he is playing or anything else.

Not to mention that in gaming, unless its high physics, its almost all about the good ole Gcard.

Unless you actally help someone, refrain from helping, because comments like that does no one any good.

Anyways, for high end gaming, and media editing, I would personally take an XFX 7600GT for budget. Your CPU is fine for budget, and id say the rest personally looks good.

7600GT would be fine. With a CPU nowadays an Athlon 64/Pentium 4 should do fine for gaming.
