What is your budget? If you have the money, go with a 9800 Pro for Halo-Life 2 (which is pretty cheap nowadays).

Thats true.. the 9800 pro can be found cheap as can the 6600 in some cases.. I'll check for the 9800 pro shortly and get you a good price..

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...C-pr1c3grabb3r - $159

Not bad for the card..

And if you wanted a 6600GT (if it was compatible) ...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127147 - $178

Haha, nice catch! As you can see, I meant Half-Life 2, but I'm still addicted to Halo 2.

If your the same guy I'm thinking of, don't spend too much on a new card unless you plan to upgrad your mobo soon. Your last one was apparently AGP 2x, meaning that's as fast as you could go... Guys, remember this when your suggesting a board. He probably only has like a PIII or a weak P4...
