Well what kinda processor do you have now? Pent 4, D or EE?

Personally, id go with an FX that would match the power of that. Maybe something along the lines of the 4200+.

And really other then that, the HDD, 2gb ram, and 7600GT should all be on par. Only the 7600GT is about the same price, but much better because of Open GL clock speends and pipelines. The whole nine years.

^whole 9 YARDS. lol.

and the FX series only has 2 numbers.(FX-58, FX-60, FX-62, etc). u might be thinking of the X2(dual core) series.

Personally, id never buy it. Although, what I have heard, is that its a great CPU. I know its insane at OCing, but still, im just not too hot to trot for it. I would reccomened it too you, but also its a server processor, and the FX would be more future proof.

Just my opinion though. Ask ownage, he knows alot more then I probably every will, LOL.

But yeah, it would be a good CPU for you, I guarentee it.
