As of right now, this is what I have in mind. BTW, Lurks, yeah, the ABIT FATALITY does support dual core out of the box now and no motherboard technically supports DDR500, but it can still achieve it with OCing and it makes the OCing process much much easier.

DOes anyone in here even have a 7800GTX? I see Blade's getting one for his new rig. The specs are incredible. I don't how any other manufacturers will top what nvidia has.

the r520 will woop it, but its gonna be a while before that comes into production, in the mean tiem the gt version of the 7800 will come out and hopefully the ultra version!!

Uh... wtf.... no it wont. The Ultra version? You do realize that the Ultras fabrication process is unstable and worthless. Technically, the difference of the 6800GT and Ultra is nothing. The cores are just those that test the BEST out of the bunch and are flashed with a higher level BIOS. The 7800GTX is refined and runs very cool for its power. ATi runs way way way too hot. The 7800GTX can whip the R520 in shading and shadow texture mapping easily. The 7800GTX= the PS3's mighty RSX chip, the worlds most powerful graphics card ever built. ATi doesnt stand a chance, and with the new dual core technology, the 7900GT will be the card of choice with dual 7800GTX enhanced cores on the 90nm process using R5 silicon wafer technology similar to AMDs. nVidia is already ahead of ATi on this round of things.

how do u knwo the r520 will run hot, u must b able to go 4ward in time or summat caoz i'm sure there nor out yewt and anyways we'll have to see wat the actuall physical results bring. finit!
