Default gigabyte port help

hi i'm wanting too switch from fast ethernet too gigabyte i looked on the back of my pc and there is only 1 port and thats ethernet but i went to the following

Click on the start menu, click inside the search box type ncpa.cpl Right-click the icon for your network adapter, and left-click 'properties'. In the dialog box that opens, click the 'Configure' button. In this new dialog box, scroll in the main window until you find an entry Speed' Click on the 'Value' drop-down menu. to see if i had 1.0 gbps full duplex

i have this so my pc should be ready for gigabyte so how can i get a port for my pc so i can use it

If the port is gigabit capable it will switch to that speed when it senses a gigabit network.
