Default Getting rid of your history? PERMANTLY!!!

How the hell do you do it? Whenever I search on google desktop all my old websites come up. How do you get rid of all of these??? (Im not a porn crazed teenager whos trying to cover up all my websites, I just want to clean up my computer...)

Any ideas??

are talking about the drop down list that comes up in search engines if so uninstallt your browser and then reinstall it. also im not sure if this works but i think if you delete all the files in the temporary internet files folder they will go

Right, go into tools, internet options, content, auto complete, then clear forms. then restart browser and ur done!!

Nope still comes up loads from google, reformatting involves wiping the whole hard drive doesnt it? Well not a chance, half my life is on here and i could never do that. They have to be stored somewhere and ive tried looking everywhere...

What do you mean by that? closing it down and booting it back up? Or reinstalling the whole thing?

no just closin it and startin it again!! Alos clear ur cookies!! thats in tools, internet options, general and then click the button!!
