Default Getting Annoying

Ok, I try playing Hellgate London online and that Svchost.exe runs my CPU up to 99% and keeps the game from playing properly. I don't really know what to do with this. I've been told to delete my anti-virus because that may be the issue, but at my university it is required for that specific anti-virus be downloaded on our computers to access the internet. Please help, thanks.

You don't need to delete it, just disable it while playing games. For that matter, make sure there are no programs running in the background while gaming.

Disable all the programs that are in the tray which you don't need while playing.
