enough about me already, this thread is about the GTX295...

now back to the card, if you're a big Crysis Warhead fan and play at 2560x1600 (4xAA, 8xAF) then the 4870x2 is still the card to get beating out the 295 by about 3 FPS 20 to 17...

Then click on Computer Hardware > Video Cards & Video Devices > Desktop Graphics / Video Cards > GeForce GTX 200 Series > GeForce GTX 295.

I think your PSU would be able to handle it, it only consumes about 30w more at load than a GTX260...

according to geeksmack.net and most other sources...

here's a chart showing the total system power consumption from overclock3d.net

it doesn't even top out over 500w, if that Xigmatek is a decent 650w you should be good to go...

IDK fps becasue i dont play alot of games, but in render time ive been looking at 5-9x faster than the quad-core QX9650's running geforce 8800 gt's that we have at the building i work at...

the GTX295 pretty much takes the 4870x2, throws it down and sits on it in every resolution except 2560x1600 where the lack of memory limits it...
