i bought a generic brand 512mb for about 40cdn ( compare to lowe quality brands for over 50cdn) ( actually i have pair 512mb so 1gb ram)

i install it on my computer and its working prefect for game, work, etc. and never had any probelm of course i dont overclock it.

hmmm i can't find a review like this discussion.. maybe they are outdated?

ok can you please tell me which is good software that i can scan and test my cheapy RAM?

I wouldn't trust a generic MB...

They control how your whole PC works. Getting a cheap one is bound to lower every other part of your system, even if you go for high spec parts in other areas.

Look at some company builders to find out this, with them shortening what you can upgrade with the system, etc.
