Well their whole plan is to get Quad SLI into consumer's households, but due to driver problems, the initial release of the GX2's will only allow one GX2 to run on a motherboard until driver revisions come out enabling Quad SLI.

They wont lose any money, because the high end cards are only a small fraction of there sales.
