now i never saw this coming at all, its not that long ago that the 512MBs come out, but 1GB wow, thats mad!!!

OMFG Thats huge, I am preparing to get a geforce 7800 GT with 512 MB and that's going cost me a ARM AND LEG 399 POUNDS thats like what 600 bucks.

look at this though. 1gb memory at 570mhz, a 7900gtx at 690mhz at 512mb....choose...

I don't think that there are any games out yet that even need the 512mb, so the extra memory ain't gonna do much good. And as voodoo child already said, the memory is slower than the one in 7900GTX.
