Default GeForce 6800 series PCIe

I heard that GeForce 6800's aren't being made available in PCIe format until early next year.. anyone else hear anything similar?

I mean, if that's the case, it's ridiculous on Nvidia's part.. why would they release their nForce 4 boards more than a month before they have any 6800 cards that it can support?

I'm trying to put a PCIe system together before Christmas and the big meanies at Nvidia aren't letting me. Please say it isn't so!

well havent been able to find much except for that it was going to be novemeber.

But this was an article from a month ago and was still when they thought that the nv41 was the 6700.

You can allways get a 6600 or an x800 or x700
