Default GCC compiler errors

Hey, I am using the GNU compiler and I am getting a crapload of errors.

Originial code:

you sure your using the right lanaguage. what is that linux?

Yeah, the compiler is for C, and I am using C.

And yes, that is linux.

What sort of character coding should I be using for the GCC compiler to work?
