What about a GTX 680? It requires a 550 Watt PSU. It would do an awesome job with DayZ. I found a few on Ebay for a low price

Just and update: I just bought an ASRock H87 LGA 1150 FATAL1TY Motherboard for $50 on Ebay. Never been used. I also got some G.SKILL RIPJAWS 2x4GB DDR3 1600 from Newegg for $54.99! The only thing left is my CPU because my supervisor at Staples Easy Tech is giving me his old gaming tower shell. I'm pumped

I honestly haven't. I just need something I can play stuff like DayZ on ultra, Arma III on Ultra, and GTA V on Ultra. I think if I can find a 770 for under $200 I would love it

My boss at work thinks I should wait for the GTX 960 come out, but I can get a Radeon 290X for around a hundred dollars less than a new 960. Would I regret going to a Radeon?

I went with a AMD 290 I bought during Black Friday, and I'm very impressed. Watch Dogs, Ultra, 60FPS plus. However, 80C under load though. Got it for around $220.

My problems are as follows

1) I may have to change out power supply's (because I currently have a 600 watt that was brand new this January)

2) I don't know how well games are optimized for Radeon cards vs. Geforce cards.

I don't want to lose performance, and I don't want to make a small space heater with a hot radeon card
