Gaming PC Building for You

Think you could help me put together my first real gaming pc? The PC i have now is terrible, i cant even run simple games on lowest settings, even if i turn off the extra animations... :C In a perfect world i would want to run games like bf3/mw3 on max/medium settings without lag, but that may not be possible for my pricepoint... Im looking to spend 1000-2000, and im thinking a SSD as well as an extra drive for storage.. I have a pretty big monitor(33"), so i was leaning towards the gtx590, i probably wont be overclocking so a high end cooler probably wont be needed. But you seem to know more than me so go for it
