A few weeks ago I made a list of parts for a pc I was going to build, then I decided that I should make a new list. This is my new list.

don't you think that's a little too much when talking about the RAM?
you are properly not gonna need 16 gig. Can you link me to the RAM?

you do know that Samsung has released a "evo" edition of that SSD?
it's faster for almost the same price.

Sorry, I mean, what is it for? I see it is great for extreme video editing, but not for enthusiastic gaming.

Thanks for the information on the EVO edition of the SSD. The reason why it's so powerful is because if I build a computer I want it to do whatever I really need it to, so if some day I want to record or do other very RAM intensive tasks I would just like to do them without any trouble.

well in that case it looks like an awesome powerhouse to me. Nothing else to add.

To me the only thing that looks out of place would be the GPU. but if you are using it for editing only then it's all good.

It's just you have chosen very high end hardware:

• Corsair H100 cooler (A cooler designed for enthusiastic overclockers)
• i7-4930K CPU (one of the absolute best CPU's on the market)
• More then enough RAM running at 2400mhz.
• Rampage Extreme motherboard (Serious overclocking board. you are wasting money if you are not serious about overclocking.
  I also bought an Rampage Extreme motherboard 2½ years ago. I have regraded it ever sense. i should have gotten the Rampage 3 gene and save 40% of the price)
• Corsair AX870 (a very high quality PSU)

and then we end the list with a only mid end gaming card.
i know it's a 4 gig version you have chosen, but that doesn't change the fact that the 760 chip is based on a limited GK104 architecture. The 770 uses the fully unlocked GK104

You should save money on that motherboard, get a H80 instead of a H100 and use those money to get at least a 770.

I actually want to overclock a lot that's why I chose the i7 4930k and the H100 with that motherboard. Thanks a lot though with the GPU I really should get a better one. As long as this won't go above $2750, witch it shouldn't.

I just edited this post to ask you if a GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce would be a good replacement?

That sounds like a very good replacement.

I just checked out this article form TWEAK.dk (it's danish site, but don't mind that. the numbers are what matters)

The locked limitations in the GK104 architecture the 760 chip uses is clear to see with these numbers.
