Yeha, it's so hard to program things in linux for games, and there are barely any games made for mac to just run... windows xp pro...

I have always used Windows XP

Windows XP Pro, so you don't get quite the bogginess that you do with Home.

Windows XP. Or if you don't mind waiting and saving up, Windows Vista. It'll be the first Operating System that is also geared towards gaming with DirectX 10.
