Hey guys, i wanted to ask about whether or not my built in graphics card was causing problems in my playing games, they just stop responding before they load or they say my computer does not meet requirements. The games are: Command And Conquer Tiberium Wars (Kane Edition) Command and Conquer Kane's Wrath (Expansion) The Sims 2 (plus Freetime and Nightlife) Supreme Commander and its Expansion. Also im worried about buying games in the future.

Specs:
Windows Vista Home Premium
Chipset: Northbridge: Intel 945g, Southbridge Intel ICH7
Asus P5L - VM 1394 <GREEN>
Dual Core Intel Pentium D, 2800 MHz
3gb Mem (1 + 1 + 1)
Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
Realtek ALC883 High-Definition audio CODECC, 6 channel audio port
Hard Drive - WDC WD2500JS-00MHB0 ATA Device (232 GB)
mios 500w power supply EN60950

So yeah i was just wonderin if i cud get some advice on what to do, whether to buy a new graphics card or what, or whether my computer is just messed....
thank everyone

Yea, your on-board video chipset is keeping you from playing those games.

I would suggest buying a new video card as your motherboard has an available PCI Express slot.

You could get something like the ZOTAC GeForce 8800 GT for $149.00 that will play all your games with ease.

If you don't mind spending a bit more, the DIAMOND Radeon HD 4850 for $174.99. It's performance can't be beat at that price.
