the q6600 is by far superior to the 6000+ AMD....trust me. Benchmarks are quite a bit higher

Yeah, that quad 6600 will definitely surpass the amd 6000+, if you got the money then go for it. Although, I think Rudster was referring to the core 2 duo not the quad core.

The amd 6000+ has a higher stock cpu speed, but the Intel e6600 has the 4mb L2. If you are willing to pay a bit more, get the Intel.
