Games freeze upon adding new RAM

They do actually, but i had gone for a visit to India, i had relatives there, so i bought some computer parts.

Im returning it, so do u recommend getting the second piece by the same manufacture as my first one for the most stability? Well if then, i cant find an "Imax 512MB PC2700" in google seraches

When the switched, the RAM into a different slots, some games work but the ones which i try still dont. I definetly will have to return it.,

Yeah, it's recommended that you get the same brand RAM, but different RAM will work.

Just wondering, i used CPU-Z to check the RAM timings and latencies, would this picture be of any help in figuring out, take a look at the timings table

Are'nt the timings sposed to be the same speed/type?

You need to put a pic of the slot 1 info aswell so we can compare the RAM

I ran a memtest today and no errors were detected. Its just that everytime i boot up in safemode, and test DirectDraw and Direct3D, they all work without and stuff-ups but when i boot windows normally and play games or test the DirectX tests, the computer freezes.
And now even when i start watching movies on Windows media player/realplayer, computer freezes.
