Game quitting for no reason

I have medievil total war II, and when I play it it'll just quit out of it when there is alot of stuff happening, like a battle with five hundred men. I have the right system configurations for the game too. I was wondering what the problem could be and how to fix it thanks in advance. George.

Just a question, might not be it, but does something that says "Medieval Shell" come up for you? That happened to me the first week I had the game and it went away with the patch, but it was really annoying.

drive the major drivers in your system (video, sound, chipset) if you haven't updated since before the game came out then its possible they are not fully compatable with the game.
