Default Game Help

I have bought Guild Wars which is an online game and need a better graphics card what do u suggest. The game recommends ATI Radeon 8500 or GeForce 3 or 4 Ti Series Video Card. It scanned my system and told me i need a better video card. Plz post some suggestions!!!

An Radeon 9600XT is a fairly decent budget card. It's only about $100 on Newegg.com, and it should be able to play the game fairly well.

These are all in your price range (I hope) but since I think you live in the UK you might want to look around your stores for these cards. The place that I've listed doesn't ship to the anywhere outside the US, so good luck, but yeah, these cards will totally play guild wars.

as the video ram is 256mb mine is only 64mb

sorry to pop your bubble here but are you sure that your computer can handle that card. My experience says NO WAY. If your computer came with that low end of a graphics than I don't think it is powerful enough to run that card
Please post your specs as to what you have now in your computer so that it can be verified to what card you can or can't use.

I found some stuff here about your Motherboard

It has an External AGP 4X 8X port (external?)

Should be able to take the AGP version of the card make sure the card isn't PCIe
