I'm starting to think it might be my HDD. i have run a check-disk three times, once at system boot in fix-mode, the other 2 as a readonly saying my windows file system is messed up. if i could figure out how to put a pic on here without openiing a image shack account i'd show you.
a dying HDD would account for the performance hit, but now all i need is a way to prove it.
