i recently upgraded my motherboard, ram, graphics adapter and cpu.
now running

Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9
1gig Corsair 400mhz
amd 64 3200+
6600gt 256mb pci-e

now the only trouble i have is crashes involving the 1gig stick of ram. i use my 2 old sticks of 256mb without trouble (exept the speed) when i put my 1gig stick in it usualy gets to the blackscreen with the windows logo during startup then resets. sometimes it gets into windows but usualy crashes.
my old ram doesnt do this.
i have the latsest bios and all settings are on auto. are there particular settings i should manualy adjust to get thhis ram to stop crashing my com? considering i dont realy know muuch about fequencies and voltages etc :(

thanks fo any help!

seems like a bad stick of RAM to me. You shouldnt have to adjust voltages and frequencies to get it to run stable off the start. That would only be for overclocking later on. Just be sure that you've installed it correctly and when you're sure of that and it still BSODs then i'd look into returning it.
