Well in my opinion "Full Screen LCD" is better for gaming

&

"Widescreen LCD" is better for Movies.

I Would go with the wide screen but I have herd that you have to make sure your video card supports its recommended resoultion. I got a monitor very similar to the widescreen lcd you posted and I love it for gaming, movies and just normal every day use its awesome. I'd say go for the widescreen fo sho!

This is very true, even with a decent video card, games look stretched out with the widescreen. I would get full screen.
