My Motherboard has a Front/Side BUSS of 2,600 MHz and the Memory Speed it can support is from 800 MHz all the way up to 1,066 MHZ

Now the Memory I have installed in my computer is DDR 2. 800 MHz
So am I right in thinking that just because my Motherboards Front/Side BUSS can go as High as 2,600 MHz my Front/Side buss is realy running at 800 MHZ?

Because my Memory is running at 800 MHz.

Is this how it works??
Thanks

err...As far as I'm concerned, that's probably not your FSB; Most likely AMD's Hypertransport..

Most FSB's only go up to about 2Ghz (and that's the Rated Front Side Bus, not the actual front side bus)

i believe that would be the memory buss that he is talking about
Grantofhell is correct in that sense
FSB = processor buss
memory buss would be something different
you can find some DDR3 out there at 2133 MHz
but thats only if your mobo can even support that speed on the memory
which isnt the same thing as the FSB
just as an FYI
