Friends computer

My friend says his computer has a css problem

dell dimension 8300 i think? 2 gb ram, 3.4ghz p4, some ati agp card

When he plays css, he gets bluescreens, and 15fps and has a drive problem

all this has happened after he had "a computer expert install[ed] a drive in [his] computer"

he doesnt know what type of drive but the "expert" said he needed a second drive (im assuming hdd) he says the drive doesnt show up in the list anymore

While playing he gets a bluescreen and he said it says something about memory, it also happens even when not playing like when he leaves it overnight he wakes up and it restarted while he slept

he gets 15 fps, and he said yesterday he was playing, had ff 3 tabs open, and a torrent open, and he got about 80, then he bluescreened, restarted, nd went back to game and only got 15 again

if you can help, i cant really figure it out myself, but if theres any questions i can ask him tomoorow

doesnt really matter though cus he getting a new one, but he wants this to be his 3rd machine

i told him he should reformat but i dont think that will fix the bluescreens?
