freezing and some video card thinga

Hi,

I was wondering what is up with my computer. See it freezes at random times (mostly durning games) I have run memtest86 and got no problems. I have also reformatted and reinstalled windows. I have also downloaded the newest driver off of Nvidia for my video card. One last thing is that I ran Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorrow and the configuration said I didn't have a power of two render target support??? I dunno what that is. any help would be greatful.

Athalon XP 3.2 GHz
Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT
Asus MOBO (Newest one)
1 GIG of DDR RAM.
CD-R Drive

Well, with those specs yer comp. should'nt be freezing at all. Did you recently upgrade your ram ??

How many things do you have running in the background, during game play ??

This could be any # of things....Try to narrow it down, eliminating as you go.
