Default freezing problem with new build

hey guys, its been a loooong time since ive been on here, but i just did a fresh build and im having some problems, every time my monitor comes back on from sleep mode the computer freezes and i ether have to restart or just wait 20 min for it it to come back up. any idea? it says my drivers are up to date, the only thing i can think of is that i am running an board with hybrid on board ati graphics but um using an nvdia 9800

I don't use sleep mode at all for reasons exactly like this. I either shut down or hibernate my system if I won't be using it.

In the past I have updated chipset drivers and video drivers to address sleep mode issues. I would visit the manufacturer's website to download the latest versions of these drivers and go from there.
