i just fixed my computer and i overclocked my cpu from 2.0ghz to 2.2ghz, could the overclocking be the reason as a freezing noise thing that lasts half a second at random times? what exactly is it caused from? thanks in advanced

Could be in that case. Lower the overclock back to default, and if it stops, its the overclock thats done it.
If it carries on doing it, its something else entirely and we can look into sorting it out then
