Default Freezing

Alright my computer is about 4years old,and every time I turn it on sometimes it will load up but others it won't. Or if it does load up. Then about 5-10 minutes later just out of the blue it will freeze. Its been happening for about a month now and its ki nd of starting to piss me off! Do any of you have any ideas about this problem? Its a gateway, windows xp nothing special added to it.

Maybe try moving it to a warmer spot in your house.

On a serious note, run a virus scan, and CCleaner too. You can download CCleaner free at http://www.ccleaner.com/

What temperatures are you getting?

What's inside the box? (pc specs)

Have you checked for dust build up in the heatsinks/fans?
