Default Freezing

Hi all.

My laptop keeps freezing up when im playing music ive downloaded of limewire. I have a internet phone plugged into a USB and will play through that fine but when I start it through the main speaker it freezes and makes a Dadadadadaddadad sound for about 3-5 secs before resuming and then does it again.
Also I heard the term "clocking" what does that mean??
And while your here can you upgrade your Video card on a laptop because someone told me you cant.

Thanks for your help

don't know about that music one, but u can upgrade the vid card for a laptop. I haven't ever done it myself, and have no idea if it's going to be easy or not. But if u take it to some local computer store and get the card from there then they will most likely install it for u. (this might cost a little more).
