This free file splitter I got linked off this site filled my 20 gig harddrive, I tryed to split a mpeg file with it and it made 500 somthing unknown files which I deleated. What is filling up my harddrive? What happened?

Description supplied by the developer: "Free File Splitter splits large files into smaller ones, and creates a small executable file that can automatically rejoin the parts to recreate the original file. Thus, the smaller parts can be rejoined without having to use this software. Thus, you can send the smaller parts to anyone, and they can rejoin them without having to use this software (this is especially handy for transferring large files via email). This program can also be used to split large files into smaller parts so that they could be stored on floppy disks or CDs. There are no limitations on the file size, and this software can be used to split huge files into any size you wish."
