Default FPS program

Alright so I am looking for a free program will show you the fps of the game that you are playing. I need it so that it will appear on the same screen as the game you are playing. I basically want to play around with the settings on my games and see how high I can get them before they become unplayable.

One other thing. Is there a thread on CF that tells you how to overclock your graphics card?

The USA spent 12 million dollars and 10 years designing a pen that worked in space.
The Russians brought a pencil.

If this post has helped you please add to my rep.

Fraps shows your FPS, and will let you record in-game

Yep, fraps works well, takes hardly any resources.
