Smile Floppy Drive help

I just got my computer up and Running and it all work good.

My Floopy Drive works but the Card Reader that is in it is noit showing up in my computer.

Sould I try to Unplug the Card Reader Cable and restart the computer then shut it off and Plug the Card Reader back in and turn it on.

The Floppy Drive connects with the Ribbon Cable and the Built in Card Reader connects to the USB Header on the Motherboard.

Smile Re: Floppy Drive help

The USB Cable that goes to the USB Header Block is on the Header Block good.
And the other end is Built into the Floppy Drive.

And the Floppy Drive Ribbon Cable is in the Drive and the Motherboard good as well.

My floppy Drive is working and is seen by windows so I know the Power Cord is conneted good as well.

The first time I installed windows xp it saw the Card Readers but not this time.

And in Device Manager under USB
it says

HCD Open USB Host Controler

What is this?

And a lot of them??

I know if I go into Device Manager and Un Install all the USB Controlers that when I restart the computer it will Re Install them again.

But if I go into Device Manager and Un Install Floppy Drive and re start will it re install the Flopy Drive??
