Floppy drives are a different standard then compact disk. Different technology. Older technology.

How are they different? They both do the same thing. Also, while we are talking about this, my friend just got a "JumpDrive" (I think they are called) and it said 32MB, it cost him like 100 bucks on ebay. It better be good for that kinda price. What is it, and should I get one like him? Is it popular?

It's a portable pen drive, search it. And the are way different they arent the same

A floppy is optical like a cd.

Oh ok, how are floppys optical like a Compact Disk? CD means Compact Disk right?

Was that a good price for the "JumpDrive" the guys is selling more of them for about 100 bucks which says 32MB, plus 20 dollar shippinig. These things must be big!

OMG! $100 for 32MB thumbdrive? He really got ripped off. I got my 128MB for $29.
