Question Flashing Mouse

Hi, this is my first post. My problem is that when I try to play a game or use a some programs, my mouse starts to flash or blink on and off. I can still use it and move it around, but it blinks as I do anything. I have had this problem in The Sims 2 and Lego Digital Designer and other games. This is becoming really annoying.

Are you talking about a LED inside your mouse is doing that or the cursor on the screen. I was about to say I have a mouse with blue LEDs in it and they flash on and off about ever time I do something with it, although I think it comes like that.
