Default Flash player acting weird...

Hey, I downloaded flash player and it works, but i occasionaly get a message saying it isnt even downloaded. For example, every time I log into live messenger i get a pop-up telling me to install flash player, but when i ignore the pop-up everything else works fine...

So it's sort of like it's installed but my computer doesn't realize?

Can someone help me please?

Have you tried completely uninstalling Messenger then reinstalling the latest version?

Completely remove (MSN/Windows Live) Messenger

What browser are you using? If you're using Firefox, try downloading Adobe Flash Player with IE as many programs rely on IE for their web access.

I'm stumped.

Maybe something in this will help:

Troubleshoot Adobe Flash Player installation for Windows

How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control
