it pretty much depends on how many files you have to transfer. Thats why photos (lets say 200MB) usually take longer than a bigger .exe file (lets say 400MB) for example.
The more files you have to transfer, the longer it will take. This does not only apply to Flash drives, it applies to HDDs, CDs, and pretty much anything you can transfer onto.

Guys, What I will be putting on the flash drive are movies. One at a time. Most are 700MB in size. Only few are 800 or 900MB in size. So with the specs I posted in post 8, should I expect the time to put it on the flash drive to be a minimum of at least an hour or more?

Funny to see there are still people out there running PC whose cpu speed is in mhz.
