I have to do a report on inventions....I picked the first ever SATA Hard Drive and I can't change it. GAH!

Agreed, Wikipedia is helpful. i helped build several articles on there. Look up AMD, I did quite a bit of that article myself. 
Also, DIRECT CONNECT, which isn't an article, just a tid bit on there still. Great resource, provided a stupid person didn't go a-wall and post crappy information. I GUARANTEE the information I put on is CORRECT and ACCURATE. (i would offer money back guarantees, but you didn't spend any, so too bad for you! )
